Love's Flame IIIThe old man shifted in his chair and stared into the fire. It crackled and flared in the grate, and while it did everything to warm the room and keep out the chill of late autumn, it did nothing to warm the man's heart. Perhaps it was the no-nonsense attitude of a soldier who had fought to keep his clan in the rankings of Scottish nobility that had frozen his heart. Maybe it was his deep seething hatred for the Baron of Stormhaven and all the man stood for. Perchance it was for a reason unbeknownst even to himself, but whatever the cause, the heart that beat in the chest of the Lord of Lochlorren reLove's Flame III
